Existential Psychotherapy: The Foundation of the Self

Existential Psychotherapy explores the core questions of human existence:

-Who am I, and what are my deepest values?

-How do I relate to vulnerability, freedom, and the uncertainty of life?

-What gives my life meaning?

Through this exploration, you begin to understand the deeper layers of yourself, free yourself from inauthentic roles and intergenerational patterns, and take responsibility for living a life that truly reflects who you are.

Cognitive (CBT) & Dialectical (DBT) Behaviour Therapy: The “How” of Change

These evidence-based approaches provide the practical tools that help you implement change in your daily life.

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps you identify automatic negative thoughts, cognitive distortions, and limiting beliefs that keep you stuck.
You learn to question, challenge, and replace dysfunctional patterns of thinking with more realistic and balanced ones, empowering you to regain control over your mind.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

DBT teaches essential life skills for emotional awareness and emotion regulation.
Through skills such as Distress Tolerance and Mindfulness, you learn to navigate crises and intense emotions without turning to self-sabotaging behaviors.

The Integration: Bridging Depth with Action

These two dimensions work together in a complementary way:
Existential therapy clarifies your values, identity, and authentic direction in life, while CBT/DBT gives you structured psychological tools to manage the thoughts and emotions that interfere with living in alignment with those values.

This way, therapy moves from understanding yourself, to accepting yourself, to making the changes you need in order to live your daily life with authenticity and resilience.
