My story
I was born in 1981 in Thessaloniki. Through an academic and professional background that deeply integrates Psychology, Philosophy, and Art, my path has been a continuous exploration of the human experience — from social concerns and artistic expression to the deeper processes of the psyche.
My academic journey includes studies in Psychology, International Relations, Philosophy, and Art History at Greek universities (Panteion University and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) as well as at British universities. During my postgraduate studies in Existential Philosophy, the work of Søren Kierkegaard became a source of inspiration and a guiding direction for what followed. I completed my doctoral dissertation (PhD) with distinction, supported by a scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY), at the School of Philosophy of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
I continued my training with a four-year specialization in Psychotherapy. My education includes advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR trauma therapy, and Therapy of the Subconscious.
My Journey into Psychotherapy
My philosophical exploration, especially through Kierkegaard and the concept of the “Authentic Self”, revealed to me that genuine well-being emerges from self-understanding and self-acceptance. This realization led me toward psychology and psychotherapy as the most meaningful path to helping people achieve the authenticity that allows deep and fulfilling connections with themselves and others.
Before fully dedicating myself to psychotherapy, I had the privilege of running an art space in Thessaloniki, aiming to showcase both established and emerging artists. Through this close interaction with people expressing themselves creatively, I recognized the essence of psychotherapy: the universal human need for expression and understanding. Listening to their stories, concerns, and emotions became a rich emotional experience that ultimately revealed my true calling: psychology and, more specifically, psychotherapy.
My Approach
Today, I work exclusively in psychotherapy, offering individual and group sessions in my private practice. I specialize in supporting:
Young Adults (18–25): Individuals at the beginning of adult life seeking self-knowledge and guidance in discovering their authentic identity.
Adults (25–40): Those facing significant challenges in their professional, social, or personal lives and seeking effective support in navigating them.
Mature Adults (40+): Individuals wishing to redefine aspects of their lives, who have gained self-awareness and are ready to release past wounds.
I deeply believe that through the psychotherapeutic process, every person can discover their own truth, make peace with their past, and build a future grounded in authenticity and psychological well-being.
