We don’t heal first and love later, we heal through love.

True self-understanding and the processing of our emotional wounds do not happen in isolation.
Human beings are deeply relational creatures, and we need connection, presence, and emotional safety.
Our wounds were created in relationships with our parents, our friends, our partners, and so on, and only within relationships can they truly be healed.
When we isolate ourselves, our psyche risks becoming a carefully curated image of self-improvement, an illusion of wholeness, a survival strategy disguised as self-sufficiency.
“Look how much self-awareness I have.
Look how I distanced myself from everyone who triggers me.
Look how well I manage on my own.”
Real change does not come from isolating ourselves and needing no one, but from connecting with the people with whom we feel safe enough to be our authentic selves.
